West African Next Top Model

West Africa's Next Top Model

wow this is serious, i know for sure and for a fact that this will be a hit no questions asked.

The casting for the show kicks out today 01/17/09 in London and 01/24/09 in New York
this should really be serious.
for the first ever Africa will hold a Next top Model show. but then i have two concerns, the positive and the negative; which one should i start with? i feel like everyone wants me to start with the Bad news first . My first one is; why are there auditions in London and NY, what does that have to do with West Africa's Next Top Model, those people auditioning in London and NY are not in Africa so they shouldn't be included. or you can they just go ahead and call the whole thing London & NY West Africa's Next Top Model, what the Heaven is that all about. London and NY ladies are more exposed to the industry as for those in Africa it's hard to get in there. I see the point they are trying to bring, which is it doesn't matter where you are located as long as you are a west African you can apply, well then if they put it in that case they should also go to other cities like TORONTO, VANCOUVER, MONTREAL, NEW JERSEY etc.. to make fair for everybody.
The other thing that's bothering me is; why ONLY West African countries and not the entire continent? it pains me to see how African countries are separating themselves, this should be a celebration for all countries, or does that mean that other countries are not good enough or is it that other countries can not produce beautiful models?. I just don't like that concept, its very very stereotyped, people who are not from west Africa might feel a little bit left out and trust me that's not a good feeling at all. We are all from the same place so we need to keep it like that.

OK then enough with bad news,
for some reasons i think and feel that this show will be very interesting, just in case they still go on with the diaspora idea, it will be intense in the house because some people would think that they are better than others just because there are from overseas and that will bring EXTRA DRAMA. OK watch out for the show for it will blow your mind out i can feel it. i hope LOL

well later then

i hope you hear my heart speaking

Before the Rain

BEFORE THE RAIN

Actors:

DESMOND ELLIOT

TONTO DIKE

VAN VICKE

CHIKA IKE

storyline: They are from decent christian families aspiring to be university graduates but after admission they find out that it is not all rosy

Critics: This is one the few good movies I've seen in a while, the story itself is well done and the actors where great. TONTO DIKE was amazing all my God, the first time i saw her i thought she really need some work on but then with this movie i think she really stepped up to the plate. the only thing i didn't really like was that She showed her butt crack on TV, that was straight up off, some people would really find that very offensive. i know it was the smallest thing but personally i was a little bit disappointed by that. VAN VICKER, what can i say, brother; just for your own good, go get you some acting classes, it doesn't hurt but it will help you and your carreer. I think that producers are using him just for his looks. Cause' all the ladies will want to watch him, well then it's not good for ladies like me who gets turned on by the way the actor portraits his character. As for me you may be so hot but then if you can't act i won't watch you, cause you are not interesting; you are giving me the same thing over and over again and i get tired. And one more thing, Van baby you need to work on your crying, it really looks fake, i would suggest that you show at least a sad face but no crying. It doesn't mean that every time you are overwhelmed you have to cry. But the rest of the crew was good, the parents in that movie were amazing too. Another thing that got my attention.
Is it me or have you noticed that there's a lot of smoking going on in Afriwood these days... First it was Rita Dominic, then i saw Genevieve Nnaji in LOVE MY WAY, what are they trying to do cigarette commercial, one thing for sure we are not Hollywood so i think we don't have to act just like them. Actors need to come to their senses cause' they are not giving a good example to youngens you are watching and it's not alright. Also, I know it's cheaper to pay just one musician for an entire project, but paying just one musician for just one song, that will played throughout the entire film is downright torture to the viewer (especially when that song doesn't fit the mood for every scene and please also make a good song cause' some songs are just straight up chessy and gets to the nerves.)

well peace out.
i hope you hear my heart speaking.

Golden Jewel & World of tears

I' am an Afrikan movie freak i watch a lot of them trust me on that, so what i have decided to do is to update you on a movie i watch OK.

today i watched two movies, the first one is called
GOLDEN JEWEL
Actors :

Directors : KABAT ESOSA EGBON

****
Storyline: Two brothers left with 8 farms by their late father, the elderly decides to give one to the younger brother and keep the rest for himself. when the younger brother's harvest became greater than his, his heart became bitter.
well watch the movie to see what happens.
Critics:
This is one of those movies you need to have in your collection. It has the FF (four factors)
*tears
*laughter
*anger
*love and i gave it 4 stars out of 5
It's not like those movies you would want to fast forward some parts till it gets to the best parts or you would even want to go either to the washroom or kitchen to make you something to eat in the meantime. From beginning to end i was so captured by it and i didn't want to miss a single shot.
The only thing i would appeal or suggest is that make sure you have enough light when you are shooting at night, because i was having such a hard time seeing some of the shots i kept on moving my laptop up and down just so i could get some images, and trust me that was not a pleasant thing.
But in total it was good, i applaud the writer.
The second one is called

WORLD OF TEARS

Actors: JUSTUS ESIRI
STEPHANIE OKEREKE
DESMOND ELLIOT
NGOZI EZEONU
NADIA BUARI
QUEEN NWAOKOYE
and others.
***
Storyline: Two blood sisters both graduates from a reputable university in the United States but engaged in a bitter competition that is claiming innocent victims, in every person they are involved with. This is another movie from nollywood, but I must say the movie has a good cast
well check it out. I gave this movie a 3 out of 5 stars
Critics:

This movie is not bad but i just hate it when people over do it (expressions on their faces, reactions; people you need to relax) Stephanie was great, i like the way she played in this movie, you could really relate to her character. Nadia has really improved too, from the last time i saw her. As for Desmond, i think that dude needs to relax more too. I think he tend to over do it and it kinds of reduce the interest in the movie. you know the story could be so good just because the actors can't act it's not interesting anymore.
i put this movie in the
JEALOUSY SIBLING CATEGORY
OK people a bientot

Not the way to go humm hmmm

Alright people, I hope your week is going good so far! Well you can share it if you want.

Well my peeps do you have questions in your head that bothers you a lot and you want some answers to them, but then you don’t know who to ask because you think you may be badly viewed?

A question for you!

Why is it that when you meet a guy, he tend to want to know about your sexuality first before he can talk to you about other things or ask you out?
I find that very immature.

This is how it goes:

*You said you name was?

*so what does your name mean = if you have a unique name

*How old are you?

*What type are you? A wild or mild?

*Are you a virgin = eyes wide open (excuse me) he even got the guts to say * I just want to know*

*How well can you go down on a guy? (Excuse me?!! Why not how well can i go up?

*Which one would you prefer sex or making love? = isn’t it the same thing? Well just the idea behind it is different.

*What’s your favorite position? (Excuse me?) = he even goes on to name you some * doggy, motorcycle (like seriously what the heaven is motorcycle? Lord have mercy.

When you ask them to change subjects, they end up asking you if the questions are too strong. Excuse me brother, I think you need to slow down.
It’s not that the question are too strong, it’s just not appropriate me sharing all these information with you, for Gods sake I don’t know you. When you tell him that he goes on to say don’t worry you can know me cause’ I’ am ready to know, uhh what makes you think I want to know you? (Thoughts)

Please gentlemen ( I don’t even think I should say gentleman cause you don’t start up gentle,) if you want to convince a well mannered lady you need to have appropriate conversations DAMN.

well, peace out.
I hope you hear my heart speaking.

My Christmas

Hello everybody

I hope you had a wonderful holiday, Christmas is just that time you know that you will be broke and you will be rich at the same time (broke= you have to buy gifts for everyboy damn especaily if you have a big family wa o i feel sorry for you oh)

(rich= when it comes to gifts, you know that each and every person in the family will get you something hhaha)

but hey it's just a wonderful time when you get to spend time with your family and those crazy cousins of yours, who won't seem to let you be,

let me tell you how my christmas was,

i woke up in the morning, by morning i mean 10:00am, I went to get a shower and while i was there my sister came in, she wanted to brush her teeth but she could stay cause' it was just too hot and she couldn't stand it so she just went out. When i was done i went in my room to get ready and there she was dancing with no music on ( don't worry it's a common thing when you are a Bukasa) we tend to have natural music LOL.
* by the way she is 2 years older than me

so when she finished having her shower she joined me and we went in our mother's room and started putting some make up on, while we were doing so, mother came in started giving us lecture on womanhood and how a woman should not wake up so late in the morning etc etc. we hear that on daily basis trust me on that. she wants us to be perfect and we alwasy tell her there is nothing like perfection, there's only close to it. when we finished we went in the kitchen and we had to start cooking cause' we were expecting visiters, trust me the whole family was coming through, (around 50-60 people) imagine the food and the plates to be washed after the meal. By the time everybody got there the food was almost ready, so people started coming and my house started getting very loud, and then here comes my cousins who are like stickers, they stick to you like glue, for instance i was going to throw garbage can i come, went in the washroom to check my eyes, can i come in, went in my room to rest, can i rest with you , trust that is so annoying.

i love my family when it comes to get togethers, i would say that we know how to partyyy from elderly to youngsters, we put some music on, wow my aunts where dancing and making some moves, you know how we Afrikan be now.
they where dancing for like an 1 hour, now we had this song on * by the way this song never misses at a wedding* so we satrted having competition between guys and ladies, oh my God it was halirious, i had so much fun. but then here came the time i had to start cleaning now, oh my God i thought i would never see that much plates in my life again, *you know back in Afrika we didn't have no paper plates where you could just eat and throw away, so we used to have a mountain peek of plates waiting to be washed and everyone used to run away so that they won't end up washing them* well thats how much plates there was, my sink become even small. But hey i ended up doing the dishes.

that night we went to bed so late with the cleaning and all my cousins where sleeping over so we had to prepare the rooms so that we could sleep and trust me it was a work you have to prepare each and every room and made sure that the sheets where enough and the tempurature was good too. where i live it cold like a freezer trust me on that so if you have to sleep with you jacket on do that. LOL.

well i have to go now but i will write soon

i hope you hear my heart
